Jonathan Crosmer is a native of Arkansas, born into a family of musicians. He graduated from Hendrix College in 2005 summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science and Music. In 2008, he earned the Master of Music in composition from the University of Nebraska—Lincoln under Professor Randall Snyder. He studied viola at UNL under Professor Clark Potter, completing the Doctor of Musical Arts degree in 2011. In 2014, Dr. Crosmer released Sebastian, an ear training tutor program for music students. Dr. Crosmer now lives in Lexington, Kentucky, working remotely as a software engineer for Redzone in Miami Beach, Florida. As time permits, he teaches viola and plays chamber music. He enjoys playing bridge with his wife, Kathleen.
